Description:  An Egyptianesque peacock proudly poses for his portrait and displays his impressive iridescent feathers.  As with all Egyptian artwork, he shows his profile to the audience as his jeweled plumage dances above his head.  The cracked stucco background gives this piece an old world look that makes it rival early hieroglyphics.
